![]() Having 2 AT and 2HMGs is mostly a defensive turtle in most gamemodes that arent 1v1, they also make you quite inflexible and take up most of your supply which 90% of the time in 2v2 and 3v3 they ♥♥♥♥ up your early late game by not allowing you to start getting tanks out (It's typical to have 3 inft squads, an mg and a PAK together with a Heavy tank a p4 and a brummbar/rocket arty by min 20 or so) I guess in 1v1s you can afford to just mega turtle and make the game as boring as humanly possible by making half the map a "No go" zone since 2 of your guns have the range to counter anything that comes that way without smokes It's about unit utilization and at the best of times every unit having a use. ![]() Meta builds involving 4 mainline, 2 MGs, 2 AT guns as the core with specialist units added as needed are like the posterchild example of this idea.ĬoH as a whole was never about specific builds or build variety.
